The Hidden Step in the Entrepreneurial Proccess

The Entrepreneurial process.  What can i say about this concept and what I found out that I wasn’t told in school? Well…when I was working on my MBA, I learned about the entrepreneurial process. And, you know, the books that we read are telling us one thing, but they don’t really tell you the true story that you get from actually being in the field. In fact, One of the most important part of the process is often forgotten or never talked about.  

We are talking about “the process”,  the process of becoming successful, the process of becoming successful even in your pressure washing business.  Man,  you got to understand that pain is part of the process. Pain is definitely part of the process.  So, you have to make sure that when you are going through this pain that you rejoice! I know, I know, that might sound counterintuitive but you should rejoice in the fact that you’re going through this pain, that you’re going through the struggle,  because it’s within the struggle where you learn your greatest lessons.

Think about a time when you’ve lost money on a job and say you quoted a job over the phone. Then, you get to a job and you’re like, wait a minute, they didn’t tell me I had this and I had that. And well,  you end up losing your time because you did a $200.The pain of losing money sucks.  We all made that mistake every once in a while. But, you learn from that right? You’ll say , “okay I’ll never do that again”.  So the next time this problem arises you’ll know exactly how to react. It’s like a pruning process. After the winter, the trees need to be cut back so that they can sprout new branches and new leaves. That’s the pruning process.  When the landscapers are cutting all those leaves and those branches back, it’s  because, (guess what) when that pollen season hits they are going to sprout new new branches.
